“Daebu” means God father in Korean. It could also mean someone who reached their master level. I was born and raised in Seoul, Korea. This is a mixtape that represents who I am, where I am from, what I grew up with. I’ve used lots of Korean records that were made by Korean masters whom I admire. Through this mixtape, I wanted to talk about the relationship between human nature and technology. I also wanted to use and mix different sounds and instruments from the east and west. This is my first mixtape called “Daebu;대부”
